Sensory play is beneficial to all children regardless of the child’s ability. It helps Building language, promotes social interaction and improves fine and gross motor skills. For children with sensory processing difficulties, it is an opportunity to explore different sensory textures, by providing opportunities to explore in different ways, you are helping children identify what they like and dislike.
